On Friday, 11 September 2026, the Faculty of Information Science successfully conducted an online Academic Benchmarking Session with the School of Information Systems, Universitas BINUS, Indonesia. Hosted virtually, this strategic engagement brought together academic leaders and educators from both institutions to foster cross-border knowledge exchange and elevate academic standards.

The core objective of this benchmarking initiative was to support the comprehensive curriculum review and enhancement for our Bachelor of Information Science (Honours) Information Content Management (SI263) program. Through interactive discussions, our academic team gathered valuable insights into industry-aligned competencies, modern digital content management trends, and best practices in information systems education pioneered by BINUS University.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the esteemed leadership of Universitas BINUS for their time, expertise, and warm virtual hospitality. Special appreciation goes to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rudy (Dean, School of Information Systems), Dr. Fredy Jingga (Head of Internationalization & Partnership Program), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Natalia Limantara (Head of Information Systems Study Program & Head of Information Systems Program, BINUS @Kemanggisan), and Prof. Dr. Ir. Yohannes Kurniawan (Program Person-in-Charge) for facilitating a truly enriching session.

This successful online engagement highlights our ongoing commitment to global partnership building, curriculum innovation, and academic excellence. We look forward to implementing these valuable insights to further enrich our program and building a meaningful, long-term collaboration with BINUS University.
