If you’ve ever been part of the organizing committee for an innovation competition, a hackathon, or an academic showcase, you already know the nightmare I’m about to describe.
You start with good intentions. You set up a Google Form. But then... the chaos begins.
Participants forget to upload their posters. Payment receipts get lost in your email inbox. You have to manually download dozens of project files, organize them into folders, and email them to the juries. And the worst part? Waiting for the juries to email back their Excel scoring sheets so you can manually calculate the final winners at 2:00 AM before the closing ceremony.
It’s exhausting. I knew there had to be a better way.
That’s why I want to introduce you to a project I’m incredibly proud to share: Jurees.my.
What is Jurees?
Jurees is an all-in-one competition management platform designed specifically to streamline how innovation events, project showcases, and competitions are run. It connects the three most important groups of any event—Administrators, Participants, and Juries—into one seamless, secure, and automated ecosystem.

For Participants: A Stress-Free Submission Process
No more guessing if an email went through. Participants get their own clean dashboard where they can:
- Fill in their project details (Introduction, Methodology, Novelty, etc.).
- Save as Draft if they need to come back and finish it later.
- Upload project posters, supporting documents, and YouTube video links.
- Upload payment receipts and track their verification status in real-time.
For Juries: Effortless Evaluation
Juries are usually busy professionals. Jurees respects their time by giving them a dedicated portal where they can:
- See exactly which projects have been assigned to them.
- View the project details, posters, and videos right from their browser (no downloading required!).
- Score projects using a built-in, customized rubric.
- Track their own evaluation progress so they know exactly how many projects they have left.
For Administrators: The "God-Mode" Dashboard
This is where the magic happens. As an admin, you can finally ditch the spreadsheets. The Jurees admin panel allows you to:
- Manage users and export complete participant/project data to CSV with one click.
- Verify payments instantly (which automatically sends an approval email to the participant).
- Assign juries to projects effortlessly.
- Watch the Live Leaderboard! As juries submit their scores, the system automatically calculates the averages and ranks the projects in real-time. No more manual math!
Why I Built This
Managing an event should be about fostering innovation and celebrating great ideas, not drowning in administrative paperwork. I wanted to build a tool that takes the heavy lifting out of event management so organizers can focus on what actually matters—the participants and their brilliant projects.
